We have come up with this design specially to encourage and promote the game amongst people who are blind or have impaired sight .

It is designed in a way that one can easily enjoy a game of chess without any hassle.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

The chess board has dark squares raised than the lighter squares so just by touching them its easy for the player to understand the difference between dark and light.

All the chess squares have holes in the centre so the chess pieces can easily fit into it and doesn’t move with a sudden movement & one can also touch & realise the actual spot of coins on the board.

The Wooden chess pieces based on staunton pattern are also made keeping in mind the touch recognition process which is on the top of every Dark Chess Pieces there is a small spike by which they can be easily distinguished from the lighter side. A short piece of dowel is attached underneath every piece which fits into the hole chess square.

SPECIAL PACKAGING: The corrugated box in which the board & pieces are kept have a special compartment in the centre just beneath the chess board for storage chess pieces keeping mind the ease of taking out and putting them back in the box, So one can never lose any of the chess men.
