The Chessboard is 12"x12" when unfold and 12" x 6" when folded with double metal hinges and clasps. The chess pieces are also in Sheesham wood and box wood combination with King 2 ½ " tall. The Pieces are felted with billiards cloth and the felt covers the embedded magnets. The magnet is super-strong so the pieces stay put even upside down.
